All pieces are heirloom quality hardwoods; some domestic and some exotic. I build custom frames to match each piece. Each piece of wood is 1/4 to 1/2 inch in thickness, and is hand picked to fit each pattern for the maximum effect. Finishes are hand rubbed with Danish oils and finishing wax. (Some pieces are finished with wipe-on poly). Backgrounds are either air-brushed, baltic birch or felt. Because each piece is so labor extensive, some may take up to 6 weeks to complete.
