All pieces are heirloom quality hardwoods; some domestic and some exotic. I build all of the custom frames to match each piece. Each piece of wood is 1/4 to 1/2 inch in thickness, is hand picked to fit each pattern for the maxium effect. Finishes are hand rubbed with Danish oils and finishing wax. (some pieces are finished with wipe-on poly). Backgrounds are either air-brushed, baltic birch or felt. Because each piece is so labor extensive, some may take up to 6 weeks to complete.
